Minions the movie at Station Park Cinemark

I loved Minions the movie! It was fun for all the kids even the teenagers until the littles started talking like Minions all the way home. "BANANAS!!!!"

The best part was spending time with my kids at Station Park Cinemark. The theater is so clean the staff is so kind and I love the BIG comfy chairs.

Standard Examiner Block Party August 14th

The Standard-Examiner will host its annual end of summer Block Party 

Friday, August 14, 2015 
Downtown Ogden Amphitheater. 

Best of all, admission to Block Party is free. This end of summer bash will be held from 4:00 pm – 10:00 pm

Created with families in mind, Block Party will feature tropical inflatables with a slide, obstacles, as well as room to jump; pretty princesses and action packed super hero characters, colorful face painting and glitter tattoos. 

Live performers, Dazzle and Dance Image Studios and musical guest Outrageous will grace the main stage. Delicious and unique food options will be provided by Zucca, Soupendous Food Truck and Make A Mix Navajo Taco; plus many more. 

Exciting vendors like Toad’s Fun Zone, Dartside Utah, Pack N’ Pounce Animal Rescue will be onsite interacting with patrons. Come send the summer out in style!

Ant Man Playing Now!!!

My husband recently took our son and his friends to the new Ant Man movie at Cinamark at Station Park for his 12th birthday. They got to experience the movie in the 3D and enjoy the awesome sound in the XD theater. For a few of his friends it was the first time they had seen the movie in the XD theater and they were blown away. Ant Man was an action packed movie with some great comedic moments from Paul Rudd. My husband was actually very surprised that the concept and science of Ant Man translated into an interesting full length movie. The kids loved the movie and couldn't get enough of the explosions and special effects. This is great summer movie for the kids that love superheroes.

Ebenezer's Barn & Grill at Ruby's Inn Bryce Canyon

My family went to Ruby's Inn at Bryce Cannon. We went to the Ebenezer's Barn and Grill Music and entertainment show!  

This was the best part of the whole trip!!! We were entertained by the pre show gun juggling, rope swinging, whip beating and songs that melt the heart and make you laugh. I have been to allot of entertainment shows at various tourist spots but this one was by far the best!!!! 

My whole family loved it from 8 years old to 80 it was fun for everyone. The food was really tasty and they had a great variety.

Enjoy an unforgettable evening of old fashioned western fun, music and great cowboy food in Bryce Canyon!

Rockwell Long Drive Championship Weekend Presented by Farmers Insurance

Taste of the Town, Car Show and Free Kid Zone with free games, activities, face painting, balloon artist and Character Artist !!! 

Kids zone will have the same face painter, balloon artist and character artist that are at Station Park and you will not have to wait in line. Then you can enjoy a taste of the town and donate to an amazing cause and see really cool cars!!! What could be more fun as a family?

The Rockwell Long Drive Golf Championship Weekend Presented by Farmers Insurance.

In its fourth year of existence the Rockwell Long Drive Championship Weekend showcases the talents of some of the longest golfers in the world as well as raises funds for great causes at Lakeside Golf Course in West Bountiful, UT.  The weekend activities kickoff Friday morning with a charity pro‐am golf tournament where each threesome will be joined by a long drive golf professional.
Come experience what it’s like to play a round of golf with these amazing athletes, they just might share a few of their long drive secrets.   

Friday afternoon and evening the Lakeside GC’s driving range will host a golf clinic with a focus on improving your driving distance, the clinic is free and open to the public.  Immediately following the clinic local high school talents will be on display in the preliminary rounds of the High School Long Drive Challenge.  Saturday morning and progressing through the afternoon golf balls will be launched 400 + yards as the elite field of competitors battle it out for a position in the evening finals.  

As the sun begins to set and the community gathers to support a great cause delicious food, fast cars and long hitting golfers will be the delight of the evening.  Local area restaurants will offer samples of their food in an effort to raise funds for the fight against type 1 diabetes in our Taste of the Town contest.  Those in attendance will be witness to some sweet rides as local car enthusiasts bring their classics and hot rods to showcase.  And if cool cars and great food isn’t enough for you the long drive finals for both the High School and Professionals will ignite the evening as two new champions will be crowned and awarded their coveted Rockwell Championship Watch.

Along with hosting a great community event our goal is to raise $15,000 to support JDRF in the fight against Type 1 diabetes.  Please, come show your support of community and JDRF and help surpass our $15,000 goal.
