Micheal Oliphant

There are many changes that have occurred in the health insurance market that could affect you immediately!

I am sure many of you have questions about PPACA (Patient Protection & Affordable Care Act) and how it effects you in not only in pricing but access to doctors & hospitals.

- Did you know that you could qualify for a premium subsidy even if you make over $100,000 annually (See attached subsidy chart)?
-Do you understand what a premium subsidy is?
-Did you know that you could purchase private insurance with this premium subsidy like Altius, Humana, Regence BlueCross BlueShield and SelectHealth?

My Husband and I are both self employed and we have a child with Special Needs. Health Care is a Nightmare for us!!! Then with all the changes this year I had a really hard time understanding what it would cost me and how it all works. So I met with Michael D. Oliphant for FREE. He has been a broker for years and has worked hard to know exactly how all the new laws work.

I met with him and in a short time he had me set up with the ACA and I got my subsidy!!! It really is saving me a significant amount of money each month on health care for my whole family. My insurance company did not explain it well to me and I thought I was going to have to pay MORE.

So Macaroni Kid wants to help our readers to better understand what you qualify for with the new ACA. Michael D. Oliphant, president of Benefits Manager, Inc.  Michael has an in depth understanding and brings local expertise that we have found beneficial for our readers.  He can answer any questions about ACA that you may have and would be happy to meet with you in person or speak with you over the phone.

Marriott in Layton

Time Out For Women in Layton is this weekend! Many of you know how hard it is to get a good seat at the event. People start lining up 2 hours before the doors even open.

I have the perfect solution...book a room at the Marriott Courtyard in Layton. Its really close to the convention center and then you wont have to get up as early to get the best seats. It makes your "Time Out" a little more nice and longer.

Plus the beds at the Marriott are always so comfortable. Its the only hotel chain we stay at. They have great customer service and clean rooms with beds that are better than my own. Try it you will like it!!!

This last weekend my family went on a quick little vacation to St. George. I have been sick of the air here and I needed a little sunshine. We stayed at the Towne House Suites by Marriott.

I love having a full kitchen and living room so the kids can eat and spread out and we can really enjoy our time together. The best part was that we had a bed for each of our children and they had their own TV in their rooms. The beds were really comfortable and the hotel was clean.

Free Breakfast in the mornings. Which I loved. My kids loved the heated outdoor pools and swam even when it was below 50 outside.
The staff was friendly and helpful.

Marriott Hotels made our getaway great!!!

We also went over and visited the Newly renovated Courtyard by Marriott. Loved the Lobby and it was so welcoming with fun and vibrant colors.  They have an indoor and outdoor pool. They also have a conference center.

The Marriott hotels are next door to one another and close to many many great restaurants and shopping centers. Easy access to and from the freeway.

I don't think you could go wrong with either Hotel. Click above and reserve your spot for spring break!!!
